Antoine Leperlier – Exhibition in Conches-en-Ouche (FR)

Donner forme au temps / Shaping Time
Musée du Verre François Décorchemont, Conches-en-Ouche (FR), 13.4.–1.12.2024

Originally trained as a painter, Antoine Leperlier has been working as a freelance artist in glass since the 1980s. Based on pâte de verre, he developed his own design technique. His works – often geometric in design – show ancient inscriptions or references to Greek mythology, vanitas symbols alternate with the most vibrant colour compositions, which unfold their free play in the glass. A technically sophisticated and aesthetically pleasing work, now on display at the famous Musée du Verre François Décorchemont in Conches-en-Ouche.

On the occasion of the exhibition, we are pleased to publish a richly illustrated monographhttps://arnoldsche.com/en/product/antoine-leperlier/ on the artistic work of one of the most important French glass artists of our time, spanning more than four decades.
