From 10 October 2019, the Landesmuseum Zurich will be presenting the lavishly renovated west wing as an attractive backdrop for the newly staged collection exhibition. The exhibition rooms, designed by Gustav Gull, were restored to the original state of 1898 with all the care and attention of a restorer. They now blend harmoniously with the high-quality objects in the collection: Whether the St. Gallen Globe, the paintings of Carnation Master Hans Leu or the world-famous Goethe Ring – the historical treasures invite you on a little exploratory journey.
In this newly conceived exhibition, the ring collection Alice and Louis Koch will be presented to a large extent for the first time.
The Rings of the 20th and 21st centuries also appear in the comprehensive publication of the same name in our programme.
