Completely revised new edition

First published in 1988, the present handbook has run to four editions sold round the world. In no time at all it deservedly became a standard reference work. Now the handbook has been completely revised and updated: with many additional reproductions of marks, much more information on artists and firms – and, importantly, has become even more user-friendly.

In revising for the new edition, the author has been supported by an outstanding team of experts: for Germany, France and Austria Dr. Horst Makus; for the Benelux countries Bart Verbrugge; for Denmark Gunnar Jakobsen and for the other Scandinavian countries Michelle Garnier.
The structure of the handbook has again been improved to facilitate easier, more rapid consultation. Owners of an earlier edition of this important handbook will find this updated version very well worth acquiring.

An internationally acclaimed standard handbook of European (except for England) ceramics and porcelain between 1885 and 1935.
