Art historian, who studied art history, Romance languages and classical archaeology. Her doctoral dissertation (1998) was on the Château Vaux-le-Vicomte.
She has worked at the Cologne Museum of Applied Art since 1998, since 2000 as curator of the fashion and textiles as well as the glass and ceramics collections. Her research concentrates on architecture and the applied arts in the 17th and 18th centuries.
In 1999, she presented an exquisite private faience collection (Fayence aus Europa) in the Kölner Sammler stellen aus series.
