Kjetil Fallan is Professor of Design History at the University of Oslo. His books include Design History: Understanding Theory and Method (Berg Publishers, 2010), Scandinavian Design: Alternative Histories (Berg Publishers, 2012), Made in Italy: Rethinking a Century of Italian Design (Bloomsbury Academic, 2013) and Designing Worlds: National Design Histories in an Age of Globalization (Berghahn Books, 2016). Fallan also serves as an editor of the Journal of Design History and on the advisory board for Design and Culture.
