Hagströmer, Denise

Denise Hagströmer is a Swedish-American design historian and since 2013 Senior Curator at the National Museum, Oslo. Her doctoral thesis on design, architecture and diplomacy was awarded by V&A and RCA in London. She has published and read extensively and taught for over ten years at Konstfack, National College of Art and Design, Sweden. Her publications include Swedish Design (Swedish Institute, 2001). She has also published design anthologies and is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Interiors: Design/Architecture/Culture (Routledge). Her curated exhibitions include A Hundred Years of the Larsson Ideal at the Victoria and Albert Museum, 1997, and Ethics
