has been Curator of Collections at the James A. Michener Art Museum since 2001, where she was curator of the 2004 retrospective of the work of Pennsylvania impressionist Edward W. Redfield and author of the accompanying catalogue as well as curator of the 2007 retrospective of the work of modernist artist Elsie Driggs and author of the accompanying catalogue. Both books are available through the University of Pennsylvania Press.
Dr. Kimmerle authored biographical essays included in ‘Pennsylvania Impression-
ism’, edited by Brian Peterson and copublished by the University of Pennsylvania Press and James A. Michener Art Museum in 2002.
