Autumn / Winter 2022
Here you will find the information about our new publications for the fall / winter season 2022. In the upcoming half-year, our program is dedicated to humanism. Thus, we are looking forward to the publication of the Pforzheim Jewelry Museum on the occasion of this year’s 500th anniversary of the death of Johannes Reuchlin, but also to the consideration of the mandala as the starting point of a sacred geometry, which made its way into the history of art and architecture.
Discover these and other titles on our homepage or in our current catalogue!

Spring / Summer 2022

On the following pages you will find, as usual, information on our prospective new releases for spring 2022 featuring many exciting and extraordinary topics. This time our program takes the title of the publication Arts and Crafts is Cactus as its theme, which, with its ironic undertone, points to the variety, creativity, uniqueness, necessity, beauty, and freedom that art has to offer.
We wish you all the best, and above all good health, for 2022!

“Art can find expression in any form when it is shaped from the creative primal ground. Drawing a distinction between ‘applied art’ and ‘fine art’ is an outmoded concept dating from a compartmentalized era. […] In fact there is only one art, which is always fine, whether it is presented as a utilitarian object or a picture surface.”
This guiding principle defining what art is, as already formulated in the 1950s by Hanns Hoffmann-Lederer, member of the Bauhaus, designer, and teacher of design, symbolically informs our publishing program.

Spring / Summer 2021

In 2020 Denmark and Germany celebrated a Year of Cultural Friendship—to commemorate the centennial of the establishment of the official border between the two neighboring countries, which, after many years of, at times, violent conflict between them, has existed since 1920. This is also the occasion for publishing our newest title on the buildings realized in Germany by the celebrated Danish designer Arne Jacobsen and his compatriot Otto Weitling.
