arnoldsche Art Publishers Program
Spring / Summer 2024

For three decades, our program has represented art and culture from all over the world, which includes, of course, every denomination. In our new titles as well as our backlist, you will find jewelry from Israel, woodwork from Egypt, Buddhist mandalas, South African painting, Bavarian craft, and much more. The artists and designers of these works—be they contemporary or historical—prove that art without cultural context is just not possible. Each culture and religion has made and continues to make its own contribution to a multifaceted and variegated world worth living in.

Autumn / Winter 2023
Many of our publications document public or private collections. In doing this, we liberate art from its showcase, locate and preserve it, and present it to a wider audience. In our autumn program, Morgan—The Collector grants profound insights into the dazzling personality of the US American industrial magnate J. Pierpont Morgan and the collection he amassed in the late nineteenth century. Majapahit presents the fascinating terra-cottas of an almost unknown culture in Indonesia, while the world of artistic ceramics, increasingly appreciated by collectors, is represented by the monographs Claude Champy and Johannes Nagel. And sticking to our publishing tradition, we launch Jakob Bengel, a volume marking the 150-year anniversary of the industrial monument in Idar-Oberstein, and SALIR, a publication on the collectors’ classic Murano glass.

Autumn / Winter 2022
Here you will find the information about our new publications for the fall / winter season 2022. In the upcoming half-year, our program is dedicated to humanism. Thus, we are looking forward to the publication of the Pforzheim Jewelry Museum on the occasion of this year’s 500th anniversary of the death of Johannes Reuchlin, but also to the consideration of the mandala as the starting point of a sacred geometry, which made its way into the history of art and architecture.
Discover these and other titles on our homepage or in our current catalogue!

Spring / Summer 2022

On the following pages you will find, as usual, information on our prospective new releases for spring 2022 featuring many exciting and extraordinary topics. This time our program takes the title of the publication Arts and Crafts is Cactus as its theme, which, with its ironic undertone, points to the variety, creativity, uniqueness, necessity, beauty, and freedom that art has to offer.
We wish you all the best, and above all good health, for 2022!
