The Association of Art Craftsmen [BdK – Bund der Kunsthandwerker] Baden-Württemberg presents works by top-class renowned ceramic artists in Ludwigsburg Residential Palace in 2019. This year, Switzerland will be the host country of the popular ceramic biennale. For the exhibitors, the venue itself was a source of inspiration for new works: In the Baroque period, from which the Ludwigsburg Palace dates, the Lapidarium was used to winter the delicate potted plants and the huge stone sculptures from the park. The original figures still stand in the rooms today and thus offer an exciting backdrop in which the contemporary ceramics are now staged.
